“ Real Roman cuisine made by a Roman chef. Italian owned and mostly Italian staff. You won't see chicken parmigiana or marsala here. This is the food of Lazio with a few Tuscan dishes: homemade pastas including mezzi rigatoni alla Amatriciana, tonarelli alla carbonara, coda alla vaccinara (Roman style oxtail), fried zucchini flowers stuffed with anchovies and mozzarella, lamb ragu, and several other authentic dishes. The carbonara is the best I've ever had, better than the incredible renditions I've had throughout Italy. The food is consistent and downright fantastic from the appetizers to the homemade desserts. Extensive list of reasonably priced wines. Service is relaxed yet attentive with excellent Italian hospitality exuded by the owners and manager. Atmosphere is very Italian and on a Saturday night, about 75% of the patrons are Italian. Simply the best place to enjoy authentic Roman food and wine in Miami. A real gem. ”
